Boiled Clams with Chilli Pickle


1.Wash clean clams and boil.
2. Chopped red onions, half chilies and mix with white vinegar, salt and sugar (according to taste). 
3. Serve with boiled clams.

Clam Sambal




1. Clean clams, boil and strain.
2. Heat oil in skillet and add sambal sauce. Mix for 1 minute.
3. Add clams and mix.

Sweet and Sour Shrimp




1. Heat oil in skillet. Add a packet of shrimps and cook for 5 minutes. Add salt and black pepper to taste.
2. Add 1 can of pineapple chunks, all cut into chunks - 1 green bell pepper, 1 red bell pepper, 1/2 cucumber, 1 tomato, 1 carrot (optional). Cook for 2 minutes.
3. Add a ready made sweet and sour sauce. Cook slowly until thickened.

Home made sweet and sour sauce:
Mix vinegar, sugar, tomato sauce/ketchup, soy sauce, cornstarch and water.

Rice with Sweet Potatoes




  1. Cut sweet potatoes of different colors into 2-4 pieces.
  2. Add into rice covered with sufficient water as instructed on rice cooker manual.
  3. Cover and let it cooked.

Plain Rice





Home Fried Rice


  1. Mix thoroughly - plainly cooked white rice (rice and water only) with a little vegetable oil and sufficient salt according to taste.
  2. Heat oil in skillet.
  3. Add packet shrimps and cook properly or until it appears oily/shinier.
  4. Add salt.
  5. Add chopped hotdogs/sausages, mixed vegetables and slices of omelette.
  6. Mix the ingredients for 2 minutes.
  7. Add rice, mix evenly and serve.

Mexican Red Rice with Achiote





Mexican Red Rice with Achiote served with Sweet and Sour Shrimps
  1. Blend well chopped tomatoes, onion, garlic and achiote.
  2. Sieve mixture.
  3. Heat oil in skillet.
  4. Add rice. Cook and stir until light gold for 5 minutes.
  5. Add tomato puree. Scrape for 3 minutes.
  6. Add broth, parsley and salt. Cook under medium low.
  7. Cover and cook for 25 minutes.
  8. Leave covered for 10 minutes.
